Thank you all!
We want to sincerely thank you for your support and endorsements. In recent weeks, you have helped awaken the interest and awareness of many neighbors who were unaware of the harsh reality of the collector project.
Our initiative is completely altruistic: everyone contributes their time and effort selflessly, always in good faith and with the same common goal: to provide truthful, clear, and transparent information.
Institutional Recognition of the Problem
Following informative pressure, the Corbera City Council has publicly acknowledged in the press that the regularization of urbanizations is a "major challenge" and has welcomed the Government's support.

Resounding success at the Extraordinary Board
We did it! Thanks to your mobilization, the Extraordinary Board was finally held, and the results leave no room for doubt: the neighborhood initiative obtained the support of the absolute majority of the owners present and represented.
Detection of €4.3M in overcosts
An independent civil engineer audited the project budget presented by the Board, proving a 35% overvaluation, with inflated prices and severe duplications in the waste items.

Confirmed: 25% of plots will need pumping
Faced with the refusal to give us the exact data, a topographic software simulation was carried out, revealing the harsh reality: about 100 families will not be able to drain by gravity into the designed collector, assuming pumping costs for life.

We force the inclusion of alternatives in the Agenda
Through the massive collection of owner signatures (well over the necessary 10%), we managed to legally demand the Board to include vital points in the assembly: audits, review of savings quotas, and the study of alternatives like bio-purifiers.

Meeting with the ACA: Viability of Alternatives
We met with the Catalan Water Agency to clarify the viability of alternatives and the real costs. The meeting confirmed the high economic risk of the current project (up to €60,000) and the legal viability of bio-purifiers.

Contentious-administrative appeal filed
Faced with the inadmissibility of the challenge to the initial assembly minutes by the Corbera City Council, a contentious-administrative appeal was filed to review the validity of the minutes and guarantee the principles of legality.

The Board is forced to publish the official price
Thanks to neighborhood pressure in the early months, the Board of Delegates finally published the official figure for the project: €28,500 for every 1,000 m² of land. For the first time, this data was sent in writing to all owners, preventing misinformation.

Next steps
After the successful vote at the Extraordinary Board, our focus shifts to receiving the minutes and ensuring that the agreements are executed with complete transparency.
It is vital to stay informed. United, the neighborhood has the strength to represent not only Santa Maria de l’Avall but all urbanizations seeking logical alternatives to traditional sewerage.
💚 Together we are stronger.
