These are the main lines of work we have launched from the neighborhood initiative:
legal avenues, technical alternatives, institutional pressure, and communication actions.
All of them pursue a common goal: to stop a disproportionate project and open the
debate on fairer solutions for all neighbors.
π£ 1. Request an Extraordinary Meeting
The goal is to pressure the Board of Delegates to convene a new Assembly.
This is the formal way to paralyze the work, vote on the suspension of the current project,
and propose key points such as the cancellation of the "savings quotas" and the modification of the voting system.
βοΈ 2. Signature Collection
Preparations are being finalized for the launch of the signature collection campaign through
the Change.org platform. In parallel, a collection in physical format will be organized to facilitate
participation for the elderly and neighbors who do not use digital means.
This page will be updated shortly to allow the collection of signatures among all users and neighbors
subscribed to the initiative. The goal is to achieve the necessary support to submit a formal and robust request.
π¨ 3. Request for Precautionary Halt
It is proposed to promote a joint action, of a legal and technical nature, with the aim of requesting the
temporary suspension of the sewerage project. The request is based on the risks and deficiencies
detected in the current approach of the project.
π° 4. Social Denunciation (Media)
An information dossier is being prepared for local and general media,
with the purpose of giving visibility to the situation of inequality posed by the project and the risk
of exclusion faced by many neighbors, especially the most vulnerable.
π’ 5. Presence on Networks
Social networks will be a key channel to amplify verified information and foster a
participatory neighborhood dialogue. Through them, we will share project updates,
contrasted data, and constructive proposals, with the aim of strengthening transparency
and creating an open, respectful, and collaborative communication space.
π€ 6. Institutional Contact
Continue and expand contacts with political groups different from the one governing in Corbera de Llobregat,
to give a political dimension to the treatment of the problem, since we believe that this council is
too interested in the Sewerage option.
π± 7. Sanitation Alternatives
Monitor very closely the solution that the City Council of Els Hostalets de Pierola is leading.
The objective is to assess the legal obligation to carry out a project and study sanitation alternatives
different from sewerage, such as bio-purifiers or other more sustainable and economical solutions.
π 8. Technical Analysis of the Project
Demand the review of the sewerage project by an independent engineer, unrelated to both the Board
and the City Council. This request is supported by a preliminary technical assessment that considers
the current budget clearly overestimated.
βοΈ 9. Administrative Contentious Way
Presentation of an administrative contentious appeal to challenge the decision of the City Council
of Corbera de Llobregat not to admit the imputation of the minutes of the last Board meeting.
